Across the school annals: the meeting of the Municipal People's Publishing Council - City Tolbuhin held on June 28, 1988, was approved proposal to establish a new school in the region "Balik", in the old building of the School of Mechanical “Mihail V. Lomonosov”. For the first academic year 1988/89 was appointed Vesselina Minkova as a director of the school, 27 teaching staff and 8 people administrative support staff. In festive morning of September 15, 1988 568 students from IV to VIII class, distributed in 19 classes, cross the threshold of the new school. On 17th January 1989 by order № 141 Ministry of Culture, Science and Education ordered the newly school to developed into a secondary school and named of the great Bulgarian writer Dimitar Talev. The care and problems of the founders are many but the first days of a team are enthusiastic and they work with desire to establish, build prestige, to expectations of parents and the public. Even the first year was established classrooms in Bulgarian language and literature, biology and Russian. Gradually, in this way lessons become more interesting and expected from students. Next year are equipped classrooms in mathematics, history, physics and chemistry."
 



       The creation of appropriate conditions for learning and good teaching capabilities of teachers give their results - the interest in school Talev is already high. By the beginning of the academic year 1993/94 school acquires its complete appearance of a secondary, as in 1989/90 year for the first time taking 9th class who received their diplomas in 1992, and on September 15, 1991 school Bell met and first grade.

 

 

At the present moment here have completed their basic education 1404 and received their diplomas to high school 765 youth.
